Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Permanent Part Time

Location: On site at 329 Parkside Drive, Waterdown, ON at Alexander Place.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the role encompasses a wide range of professional nursing responsibilities in accordance with standards of nursing practice outlined by the College of Nurses. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, this role provides support in the coordination of care, oversees designated nursing personnel, and executes tasks as delegated. The RPN is responsible for delivering direct care in accordance with established care plans, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of resident information, facilitating the orientation of new team members and residents, and participating in assigned committees. This position also requires the application of quality improvement and risk management principles, efficient management of supplies, and meticulous upkeep of the physical environment and equipment.
