Qualifications

• Current certification of Competence from the Canadian Society of Orthopaedic Technologists or equivalent.
• Current experience as an Orthopaedic Technologist including aseptic technique.
• Ability to accept direction yet work independently.
• Satisfactory work performance in present position.
• Previous proven good attendance record.
• Capability to cope with a physically demanding workload.
• May be required to work in other clinical areas.
• Must have a satisfactory Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check.

• Participates in the Nursing Process by assisting with assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
