Position Summary
Located at the heart of downtown Toronto, The Krembil Brain Institute at Toronto Western Hospital is home to one of the world’s largest neurosurgical programs, consisting of world‑leading spinal, neurosurgical teams and the most comprehensive multidisciplinary teams working hand‑in‑hand to prevent and confront problems of the brain and spine. As part of the Krembil Brain Institute, the spinal unit is a University Health Network Centre of Excellence. The University Health Network (UHN) is looking for highly motivated professionals to fill the key role of a Registered Nurse in our Spine/Neurosurgery Department. We hire and train newly graduated nurses.
Our 28‑bed specialized spine unit within the Krembil Brain Institute (KBI) cares for patients undergoing neurosurgical spine, orthopedic spine and procedures and those experiencing emergent infectious, oncological, and traumatic processes with potentially devastating consequences.
