Registered Nurse – Acute Hematology
Schedule: 12-hour Day/Night rotating OR 12-hour Nights
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience required
- Travel experience required
- At least 1 year of current specialty experience required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager/director (no coworker refs)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with newly diagnosed acute leukemia within a high-volume oncology/hematology environment.
- Monitor and assess patients using telemetry and manage dysrhythmias.
- Administer IV therapies, including blood products, and perform central line/PICC care and blood draws.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support services and ensure infection and fall prevention protocols are followed.
