DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides breast-feeding information and support based on individualized needs and prescribed medical treatment for both inpatient and outpatient families within the Women's and Children's Health program with particular emphasis on the NICU, inpatient high risk infants and the Ambulatory clinics. Participates in the development and implementation of nursing and patient education programs specific to breast feeding the high risk neonate and infant and in support of the Baby Friendly Initiative.
