The Labour and Delivery (L&D) unit at Peter Lougheed Centre aims to attract and retain high quality registered nurses who will provide excellence in nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care delivered to women across the perinatal continuum. Our L&D unit is a diverse, dynamic and fast paced environment seeing approximately 500 births per month. As the L&D RN, you will utilize your critical thinking skills and you will consistently practice cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity within the interdisciplinary team setting. As an effective communicator, you will provide holistic, comprehensive and family centered care and teaching to individuals and families, both independently and collaboratively as a member of the healthcare team.
