The Registered Nurse (RN) in this busy rural setting will have a strong understanding and appreciation of the delivery of nursing care to diverse acute care and ER clients. The RN will demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to changing and fluctuating workloads, and coordinates care with members of the inter‑professional team. Demonstrated initiative, accountability, critical thinking, and strong clinical skills are essential. Effective written and verbal communication skills are required as is a commitment to integrating Patient and Family Centered Care principles into your practice. A commitment to professional development and promoting a positive work environment is valued. Preceptoring and/or mentoring student placements and less experienced staff is required.
