DESCRIPTION:

Background

In East Asia Pacific (EAP), Alive & Thrive provides strategic technical assistance to governments and a network of local partners focusing on nine countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Thailand, and Viet Nam) to facilitate policy and system reforms that increase investments and create an enabling environment for maternal, infant, and young child nutrition (MIYCN).

As an endorsed technical assistance provider to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Health Cluster, Alive & Thrive supports the development of regional standards and works with member states to improve the quality and coverage of MIYCN policies and programs across the region.
