Range Technician (Seasonal)

This position is located in Battle Mountain District, Mount Lewis Field Office, in Battle Mountain, Nevada. We expect to fill one vacancy. This is a temporary appointment. Appointment to this position will not convey permanent status and will be for a period not-to-exceed 1560 hours in a service year. Responsibilities Develop and monitor complex Allotment Management Plans (AMPs), watershed initiatives, and NEPA evaluations to ensure full compliance with land use guidelines. Lead integrated weed management strategies, deploying chemical, biological, and mechanical treatments to control invasive species across public and private lands. Cultivate strategic partnerships and secure external funding sources with neighboring landowners and BLM partners for regional weed mitigation programs.
