Rainbow Student Advisor

About this role

An exciting opportunity for a Student Advisor has become available in our Rainbow Student Support Service. This is a full‑time (37.5 hours per week), fixed‑term position for a period of 12 months.

Responsibilities

This role supports student success by providing wellbeing and mental health support to Rainbow students. It includes:

• 1:1 support, group facilitation, and community‑building initiatives to foster belonging.
• Supporting students with complex needs and navigating intersections of identity and wellbeing.
• Providing compassionate, professional judgment and creating safe, respectful spaces for students to succeed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., social work, youth development, health sciences).
• Experience and confidence working with Rainbow communities.
