Radiology Technician / Medical Assistant
Job Purpose
- Work closely with the medical team in providing care related to employment safety, health, injury, and well-being under the direction of the medical provider
- Deliver high-level customer service to patients and employers
- Perform patient care including rooming patients, taking observations, and gathering data for medical providers
- Provide accurate radiologic imaging for medical evaluation
- Perform X-rays as ordered by the medical provider
- Take vital signs and monitor patients
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Coordinate lab testing and results for pre-employment and DOT physicals
- Perform occupational testing
- Enter test results into the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Perform daily and monthly equipment checks and calibrations
