Radiology Technologist CA

The Radiology Technologist performs highly complex exams as part of the diagnostic team. This individual coordinates specialized equipment, calculates technical factors, radiation safety, maintenance of equipment, quality assurance and film processing, and maintains adequate inventory. This individual must be alert to potential problems with the patient or the equipment and be able to devise alternate means of accomplishing the objective if standard means fail.

Qualifications

Position Requirements and Essential Job Functions:

• License or Certification: ARRT certified; current license as required by the state; maintains current CPR certification
• Total Education, Vocational Training and Experience: Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program; working knowledge of all radiological equipment; able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team
