Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

Schedule: 4x10 hours, Days; weekends, holidays, on call/callback per unit needs.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Two (2) years of experience
• Technician License (NY ONLY)
• AART
• Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience
• VIR (Nice to have)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Selects exposure factors and positions patients to produce high-quality radiologic images.
• Works collaboratively with departmental members to resolve issues promptly.
• Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic examinations and assists the Radiologist during procedures.
• Reports equipment malfunctions and maintains medication security.
• Completes procedures timely and assists in other duties as needed.
