Multi Modality Specialist

Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment. Assists in achieving departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that allows the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the listed modalities on a regular basis. Education and work experience include an associate's degree in radiologic technology, with a bachelor's degree or master's degree preferred. Must possess a current certification in one of the modalities and be able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality. Essential functions include performing various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with experience. Competently performs three modalities.
