The radiology service at Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti is a small, dynamicteam looking to employ a suitability qualified Radiologist. This rolewill work collaboratively and cohesively with the radiology team toprovide effective services for the Tairawhiti region.
Applicants are expected to have a general scope of radiologist skillsincluding ultrasound, MRI and CT. The Department is hospital based andprovides a mix of inpatient, emergency and outpatient imaging for acommunity of approximately 47,000 people. Time is split with 70%clinical responsibilities and 30% non-clinical. It is expected that youwill also participate in the on call roster which is currently an ‘athome call’ one in four nights.
