Job Description
The Island Health Department of Medical Imaging in Duncan is seeking a Locum Radiologist at the Cowichan District Hospital (CDH). A new hospital is planned to open in 2027.
The successful candidate will have proficiency in CT, US, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, BMD and basic interventional procedures as well as:
- Flexibility, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work harmoniously with and contribute to a small group practice of 7 Radiologists.
- MRI or MSK would be an asset.
- Willingness to share in administrative roles and future leadership of the group.
- Interest in living in the local island community.
- Training in or a willingness to train in CT Cardiac Coronary Angiography and CT Colonography.
- Preference for lifestyle-based practice, with abundant vacation time and flexibility, but willingness to increase workload as needed.
