Job Description
. Prepare preliminary cost estimates and cost plans based on conceptual or schematic designs
. Provide cost advice to support design and development and ensure alignment with the Client's budget
. Advise on appropriate procurement strategies (e.g. traditional, D&B, etc.)
. Prepare tender documents and manage the tender process
. Participate in value engineering workships and provide cost-impact analysis
. Assist in the negotiation and award of the Contracts
. Monitor project cost performance and maintain cost control systems
. Conduct regular site visits to evaluate progress claims and issue payment recommendations
. Assess variations, and maintain updated cost reports and forecasts, including cash flow projection
. Provide monthly cost reports, financial statements, and updates to Client and Consultants
. Prepare, negotiate, and settle final accounts with Contractors
