Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates and cost plans based on conceptual or schematic designs
- Provide cost advice to support design and development and ensure alignment with the Client's budget
- Advise on appropriate procurement strategies (e.g. traditional, D&B, etc.)
- Prepare tender documents and manage the tender process
- Participate in value engineering workshops and provide cost-impact analysis
- Assist in the negotiation and award of the Contracts
- Monitor project cost performance and maintain cost control systems
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate progress claims and issue payment recommendations
- Assess variations, and maintain updated cost reports and forecasts, including cash flow projection
- Provide monthly cost reports, financial statements, and updates to Client and Consultants
