About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this Quality Assurance Manager will work within the QA/QC department to optimize mix design and raw material costs, implement and manage quality procedures and policies, manage product development, and provide assistance to customers and sales representatives. The role meets divisional quality goals, reduces quality incidents and costs, enhances customer service, and leads a team of QA/QC technicians in the field.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Administer, develop, implement, and standardize quality plans and processes for the Greater Edmonton / Northern Alberta Area.
- Conduct quality audits and adhere to the WCan Quality Control Manual.
- Lead and develop the quality assurance team for the region.
- Assess concrete mix designs to achieve quality objectives, increase cement efficiencies, and reduce total mix costs.
