Role Overview The HR Officer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day human resource operations of the hospital. This role requires a proactive individual with a sound understanding of HR practices within the healthcare sector. Key Resposibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases in compliance with data protection requirements. Administer staff contracts, leave management, and attendance tracking systems. Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Coordinate staff performance appraisal processes and training & development programs. Handle employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with Uganda labour laws and hospital HR regulatory requirements.
