Job Description
Become a key player in Capital Markets as a Python SQL Kubernetes Developer with a hybrid work model in Toronto. Support the migration of critical analytics to Azure while focusing on backend optimization.
This 8-month contract role requires 5+ years of experience in Python, SQL, Kubernetes, and Azure AKS. You will closely collaborate with investment professionals and software developers to modernize applications and enhance backend services through cloud-native deployment and containerization practices.
Key Responsibilities: • Migrate Python scripts to Azure Kubernetes Service AKS • Refactor SQL queries, migrating from Oracle to Snowflake • Containerize applications using Docker for Kubernetes • Modify codebases for Kubernetes deployment • Support backend initiatives for analytics and trading execution
