Position Overview
To ensure that orders are issued to suppliers and order material planning is successful and that the capacity is used in efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the raw material purchase order process (issuance, tracking, and approval) to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Follow up on planned requirements of raw materials with buyers and making sure these are sent and confirmed by suppliers.
- Follow up on critical materials and manage an appropriate escalation process within the organization.
- Coordinate with carriers to follow up materials arrivals until manufacturing site.
- Supplier management to negotiate on supplier shortages improvements.
- Coordinate with planning and work on extended planning forecast.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in similar roles in manufacturing plants.
