Purchasing Support is part of the Operations group and is responsible to provide full admin support to the Purchasing teams. Updating purchase orders, including pricing and lead times using order acknowledgments provided by vendors. Expedite purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery. Understand production run rates and be able to delay shipments if delivery cadence exceeds production. Work with the materials team to regularly close out and resolve older open orders.
