Pulmonary Function Tech

Responsible for performing and monitoring quality pulmonary function testing. Responsible for performing all respiratory therapy procedures and tests.

Reports to: Director Cardiopulmonary/Neurodiagnostic Services

Performs EKG’s and rhythm strips with a minimum of repeats and artifact accurately.

Assists in training of other personnel appropriate diagnostic tests.

Clinical Procedures/Performance – (Aerosol treatments, Oxygen Therapy, etc.) Initiates/Performs diagnostic modalities. Verifies orders, gathers appropriate equipment, and educates patient.
