OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

The WHO Western Pacific Regional Office's KMU unit forms an integral part of the knowledge management strategy of the organization and works to maintain the core values of WPRO's publishing policies such as commitment to quality, a disciplined and dedicated focus on customer service, understanding WHO's copyright and brand, aligns principles and processes with the objectives and activities of the organization, and the provision of services to low and middle income countries and to populations in greatest need.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

1. Assist in monitoring the implementation of the operational workplan and activities for WPRO publishing programme including production of publications, dissemination and promotional activities and attendance at global, inter-regional and regional meetings relating to publications.
