PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the COMMUNICATION STRATEGY AND OPERATIONS of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will be responsible for conducting public affairs functions for the organization, ensuring public affairs activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. You will be responsible for managing and executing the strategic communication plans, talking points, command messages and leading, as required, various cross-functional and joint communications teams tasked to directly support the command. You will be responsible for serving as the social media manager and webmaster.
