Become a key player in emergency management as a protective services summer student. Engage in research and project assistance aimed at enhancing community safety.
Under the supervision of the Director of Protective Services, this casual position will assist in planning and implementing emergency management strategies. You'll conduct assessments, develop content for safety resources, and review essential documentation to ensure community preparedness and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on current Hazard Risk trends
• Aid in the development of emergency planning strategies
• Review and revise existing plans for compliance
• Create educational materials for internal staff and public
• Assist in documentation updates as necessary
Requirements:
