Project Engineer, Transportation

Position Overview

RVA is seeking a Project Engineer, Transportation to work on a variety of challenging projects related to roadways and highway infrastructure design, including grading and drainage, roadside safety, geometric design, flood protection, stormwater management, storm drainage systems, water main and sewer design, intersection design, and utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering and technical expertise on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Assisting in project management, including budget tracking and client communication.
• Participating in studies, assessments, modeling, preliminary and detailed design.
• Contributing to reports, drawings, and other engineering documents.
• Preparing designs for municipal road reconstructions, water/sewer systems, site grading, and stormwater management.
