Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end shipping operations across air, sea, and road freight
Coordinate imports, exports, and cross-border African shipments
Handle project cargo, breakbulk, RoRo, and oversized cargo movements
Prepare and manage cargo bookings and cost estimates
Ensure timely and accurate completion of customs, port, and carrier documentation
Maintain shipment files and ensure accurate tracking and reporting in systems (CargoWise preferred)
Manage pre-alerts, PODs, and shipment updates
Liaise with clients, agents, carriers, and international offices
Resolve delays, disruptions, and shipment issues proactively
Assist with invoice checks and shipment billing preparation
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in international freight forwarding
Strong exposure to African trade lanes and cross-border logistics
Experience in multimodal and project cargo operations
