Project Controls Engineer (Fixed-Term Contract)

Primary Focus

The Project Controls Engineer will provide support and specialised assistance to project managers for the resolution of complex engineering project controls issues.

Responsibilities

• Support project controls effort for planning, scheduling, cost analysis and monitoring for major engineering programmes or high‑visibility projects.
• Monitor and analyse reports and make recommendations on cost and schedule performance.
• Develop specialised work‑breakdown structures for complex projects.
• Undertake project costing (CAPEX/OPEX) based on internal databases of previous and current similar projects, quotations from suppliers and vendors locally and abroad; all supplied information must comply with mechanical, electrical, process and other known requirements.
• Perform unit‑price analysis by identifying the normal work output and unit rates of labour, tools & consumables, materials and equipment costs.
