Background and Purpose of the Assignment
In February 2020, the client established a partnership with Pakistan’s largest social safety net, the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). Since then, the client has been implementing the country’s most extensive nutrition-sensitive, conditional cash transfer programme – the Benazir Nashonuma Programme (BNP). This programme adopts a multisectoral approach to address the complex issue of malnutrition in Pakistan with a focus on stunting reduction in children under two years of age, among the poorest households.
