Job Description

The Production Planner for Fabric Care, Refrigerators, Plastics, and Stampings, is responsible for balancing demand, managing finished goods inventory, and ensuring customer service, line scheduling and sequencing production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the demand flow tool.
• Maintain the capacity plan in accordance with the position.
• Schedule production in accordance with the rules of the road, PSI, Demand Flow, Actual Rates, sales and guidelines for finished goods inventory management.
• Revise the production schedule as necessary due to raw material shortages or capacity constraints.
• Revise the production schedule as necessary due to raw material shortages or capacity constraints, or new sales orders.
• Manage finished goods safety stock to prevent shortages and/or obsolescence.
