The history of the Dallara Group began in 1972, when Engineer Giampaolo Dallara—after significant professional experience at Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, and De Tomaso—founded Dallara Automobili da Competizione in Varano de' Melegari, a small town near Parma.
Today, the Dallara Group is made up of over 950 Dallara People and is one of the most important players in the design, development, and production of racing cars and hypercars. Dallara is the sole supplier for the following championships: IndyCar, IndyNXT, Formula 2, Formula 3, EuroFormula, Formula E, Super Formula, Super Formula Light, Euroformula Open, Eurocup‑3, and A2RL.
