Professional Practice and Education Leader

Job Description

The Professional Practice & Education Leader (PPEL) facilitates processes to support excellence in patient-centered practice based on relevant best practice, conceptual frameworks, research literature, professional standards of practice, legislative requirements, and other scholarly resources. The PPEL is responsible for the coordination, implementation, evaluation and sustainability of professional practice projects, programs and initiatives including clinical policies and procedures, integrated care pathways, regulatory requirements for competent and safe practice, mentorship, clinical placements, and healthy work environment initiatives which align with Mackenzie Health’s vision, mission and values.
