Professional Engineer 1 (Civil/Geotechnical) - VID 208262

Duties Description Duties include but may not be limited to:
• Perform geotechnical engineering duties including determining soil and field material, ground seepage, and detailed soil mechanics.
• Collect and analyze data on bedrock, foundations, and aquifer systems to inform subsurface construction plans. Investigate subsurface conditions, determine engineering properties of materials, and apply findings to design decisions and recommendations.
• Prepare geotechnical drawings and details, specifications, estimates, and/or studies for design projects.
• Coordinate design drawings and related specifications, construction costs estimates, etc., with the other technical disciplines.
• Actively manage the schedule of assigned projects according to workload, priorities, and design schedules.
• Review reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates prepared by design consultants.
