Production Worker – Brooks, Alberta

With approximately 3,300 employees, JBS Food Canada ULC (“JBS Canada”) is one of Canada’s largest beef processors. Our main processing facility in Brooks, Alberta produces a wide range of beef products shipped across Canada and worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as provided by the Employer.
• Work in a variety of environments including wet, humid, cold, hot, inside or outside.
• Work with animal blood and various parts/contents of a butchered animal.
• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout the plant and warehouse manually or with powered equipment.
• Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines or mobile tank trucks.
• Sanitize work areas and equipment.
