Production Supervisor

Position Purpose Responsible for the day‐to‐day management of the production floor through supervision, development and training of the production team which includes approximately 20‐30 associates. In addition, it is responsible for the efficient movement of product through the plant with a focus on quality and timeliness. Reports to the Plant Manager. Duties & Responsibilities Follows established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times Directs supervision of production staff including: training associates, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; conflict resolution; team building; coaching and leading associates to improve; addressing complaints and resolving problems; documentation; and setting an example of superior behavior, attitude and performance Maintains efficient workflows by monitoring processes and variables; implements cost reductions; develops reporting procedures and systems Completes producti...
