PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS)

Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the Business Operations Division, Business and Strategic Planning Office of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will serve on a Project Management Team and be responsible for work authorizations, customer liaison, and funds administration. You will obtain and administer advanced planning funds and conduct long range planning actions prior to the assignment of the Project Management Team. You will administer funds allocated for assigned work including the oversight of estimates and expenditures and also advise customers of fund status. You will screen initial requests for performance of work in the form of correspondence, dispatches, or telephone calls in the light of workload capacity, capability, and general policy.
