Overview
GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for supporting launch of new products by working in conjunction with Engineering and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external partners toward a timely execution of prototypes
- Develop and manage new product designs from concept to mass production
- Develop detailed product specifications, drawings, BOMs, and coordinate with tooling as needed
- Maintain the highest level of craftsmanship and quality in the development and introduction of new products
- Create accurate engineering specification drawings with minimal direction
- Make modifications to existing CAD drawings to support manufacturing and purchasing maintenance
- Manage all CAD activities within a project
- Participate within cross-functional product development teams
