Scope and Impact of Position:
Direct project responsibility for design, development of new and improved products. Performance against schedule affects commitments made in the division business plan. Recommends product specifications, drawings, documents and changes as they pertain to any new products or product modifications.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of new and improved medical devices using concurrent engineering, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.Develop and approve product specifications, materials, assemblies, and processes while ensuring compliance with design control requirements (e.g., DFMEA, verification & validation).Engage with clinicians and external market sources to refine user needs, research new materials/processes, and drive continuous improvements in design, performance, and cost efficiency.Collaborate cross-functio...
