Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manages sourcing and purchasing of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operation) materials, equipment and plant services for capital projects and plant operations.
• Conducts sourcing events using RFQ, sealed bids and other latest techniques for materials and services.
• Performs commercial evaluation of the bids and facilitates bid clarification meetings with stakeholders.
• Finalizes selection and follows through with purchase order (PO) execution.
• Proactively engages stakeholders in identifying, selecting and approving new material suppliers.
• Leads the Supplier Qualification processes and maintains the Approved Vendor List.
• Demonstrates proficiency in MRO materials and equipment sourcing to drive decisions and optimize costs of purchases.
