Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all procurement activities (Metal, Non Metal).
• Sourcing, vetting, and managing relationships with metal suppliers, mills, and service centers.
• Negotiating purchase agreements and contracts, often with a focus on cost savings and long-term supply agreements.
• Minimize risk exposure in supply and service contracts and maximize opportunities in operations through supplier management.
• Ensure that goods and services are supplied on time via acceptable terms and conditions.
• Lead and develop high-performing purchasing and cost estimating teams to achieve objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and to ensure all purchases are managed via best practices according to Corporate, Company and Government Policies and to the best interest of the company and its stakeholders.
