Job Description
The Procurement Clerk supports the maintenance team by developing and managing a practical spare parts inventory system, including organizing and improving the layout of the spare parts rooms. This role focuses on accurate purchasing, inventory control, and timely support to plant personnel to ensure that critical equipment parts are available when needed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to design, implement, and maintain a usable parts inventory system, including the layout and organization of spare parts rooms.
- Provide initial and ongoing support for the plant equipment spare parts storage, including maintaining and using a bar code system to track parts.
