JOB SUMMARY The Process Improvement Engineer is responsible for performing detailed time studies, process analysis, and production improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This temporary, contract role will focus on evaluating current production processes, labor utilization, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, and cost. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct time and motion studies across manufacturing operations. • Develop and validate standard work and labor standards. • Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies. • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. • Perform line balancing and workstation optimization. • Document current- vs. future-state processes and present findings to leadership. • Use data and observations to support continuous improvement (Lean) initiatives. • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure pract...
