Process Control Specialist (Automation Technician)

This role provides hands‑on support for process control, automation, operational technology (OT), and industrial data systems across the Island Gold District. The position supports mining and processing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving DCS, PLC, HMI/SCADA, historian, and industrial network systems, while contributing to safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) used for continuous plant process control.
• Develop, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC‑based control systems across platforms such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and DeltaV‑integrated PLC environments, supporting mining, processing, and infrastructure applications.
• Modify and enhance control logic using ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming.
