A large financial client is looking for a VP for Private Equity Fund Accounting. The candidate will provide fund accounting services for complex investment funds, including NAV calculations, fund performance reporting, expense allocations, and reconciliations. They will also support junior team members, partners with clients to resolve accounting inquiries, and ensures financial reporting remains accurate, compliant, and aligned with GAAP/IFRS requirements. Duties include the below:
-Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and complex funds including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses and preparing reports.
-Lead work of junior team members for assigned client or fund and provide guidance on complex accounting responsibilities.
-Drive Service Improvement plans, target efficiencies, enhance processes, and perform specialist review functions.
