Prior Authorization Specialist & Intake Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Prior Authorization Specialist & Intake Coordinator to manage patient intake, insurance verification, prior authorization submissions, and coordination with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with major insurance payers, including Availity, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), Cohere Health, Carelon, and Ambetter.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in healthcare intake, prior authorization, medical billing, or insurance verification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, and authorization processes.
• Experience with eligibility verification, authorization follow-up, denial management, and appeals processing.
