Primary Plant Fitter

Our client based in Watford is looking for a Primary Plant Fitter to work within their team.

Primary Plant Fitter Role Purpose:

To install and assemble HV substation primary plant - transformers, switch gear, busbars and cables - to drawings and manufacturer specifications.

Primary Plant Fitter Key Responsibilities:

• Install and Assemble transformers, GIS/AIS switch gear and busbar systems.
• Support HV cable installation, jointing and terminations.
• Carry out mechanical assembly, rigging and erection of HV plant.
• Install earthing, bonding, containment and multi core systems.
• Work from general arrangement drawings and manufacturer instructions.
