Preventative Maintenance Coordinator

Seasonal Contract position supporting the National Science Foundation‑managed United States Antarctic Program as part of the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC). The Preventative Maintenance Coordinator supervises maintenance or construction work, under the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, based on ASC schedule requirements. Responsibilities Implements and maintains a safe workplace program and ensures safety is the highest priority on the jobsite. Supervises activities of Facilities craft personnel on station. Supervises and performs hands‑on diagnosis, repair, and scheduled preventive maintenance on existing facilities, equipment, systems, and infrastructure. Prepares and documents work plans, job hazard analysis, job safety analysis, code‑required forms, checklists, and internal procedural documents as required.
