Prefab Construction Assembly Technician

The shift buzzer sounds and you roll up to your station in Fenton. Blueprint in hand, you lay out materials—wood, steel, plastics, drywall, and composite panels—then measure twice and cut once. You shape parts with hand tools, saws, and shop equipment, assemble structural components like walls, floors, ceilings, and roof sections, and set windows and doors with a precise finish. Levels, framing squares, and a tape measure stay close—quality checks are constant. You collaborate with your supervisor, adjust to changing priorities, and keep your space clean and safe. When production surges, you pitch in for weekend overtime to get the job done.
